I got a voice mail from Good Time Payday Loan saying im being sued, but I've never even heard of this place can anyone help.

After about 1.5 years of not being able to pay my student loans, I've begun the process of ting to repair my credit. I called NES regarding one of my accounts today and offered them a settlement of approximately 60%. Based on some of the other threads I've read, I've learned I may have offered too much. I have a few questions, did I offer too much? Are there any things I should keep in mind while attempting to settle this? Any best practices or advice? I sincerely appreciate the help.

I just received a call from a man named Tom Littine and he states that in the morning they are going to fax a warrant to the DA for "misleading a court officer" and I had two hours to get back with him and pay $287, my question is can this be real or just a scare tactic to get me to pay. I do have a pay day loan or two out so I know I owe but I don't want to go to court or jail over it either.

Today I was contacted about a judgement in the state of ohio for citibank/goodyear and the man stated there was a court date on 1/6/09 but I had moved to tennessee on 12/18/08 and was never notified of the court date. They now want me to pay 1987.00 to them and he also stated that the judgement can be in effect for 20 years. What should I do here? I thought these things fall off after 7 years. The account had a last payment made in 2003 but the judgement is from 2009? what happens if i dont pay?

was sued by Michael J Scott for a time barred credit card debt? How does he get away with this?

I received a phone call from an unknown number which I never answer any, they left a message saying they were regional arbortration services so I looked them up online and I get you guys answering questions!! I did try calling them back and like most others its in my state bug when connected they answer than place me on hold for a long period of time so I hung up and after reading some of the stuff on here I will not return the phone call is that right?
