I received a payday loan and had payments for the interest withdrawn from my bank, unfortunately 1 week i did not have the money to cover the $30. being withdrawn, so the loan was not paid, I received a letter in the mail dated 08/01, that since I defaulted on my loan I must call and make payment arrangements or send them a money order in the amount owed.

I am currently having difficulty with Credit Acceptance Corporation. My attorney has advised me to try and get ahold of their accounting department but I cannot find an address. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Ok, so I haven't heard from these guys in a several months now. They never sent a response to the BBB, and I finally asked the DFI for some news. The DFI received a letter from them dated June 25,2007, but never told me about it. Basically, it's a letter from their attorneys at Bryan Cave stating they haven't violated any Wisconsin laws and they "have and continue to work with xxxx to come to the amicable settlement regarding the money owed to Geneva Roth related to the loan." As if!

I talked to someone at my bank, and they said they could close my account but they couldn't put a hard hold on my account. I have 4 internet payday loans and I am unable to pay them. I already have another bank account, and I want to close my old one, I just don't want all those NSF charges. Also does anyone know where I can get a PDL letter that says you revoked your auth to debit the account. Thank you
