This is a email that I received from Magnum Cash Advance. Your account is being forwarded to a national collection agency. If you do not respond to their attempts to contact you, your default will be reported to the major credit bureaus (Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax), which will severely impair your ability to obtain credit in the future. Collections Department I responded by telling them they could not put this on my credit report and that they are illegal in NC according to the Attorney General's office and ask for their license to operate in NC. Did I do right?

I received a call from this company saying I had a debt of $287.33 for over-milage from a car lease over six year ago. They tried to get me to give them my checking account info so they could withdraw the money; when I wouldn't do that they told me to get a money gram to send them. When I told my husband about it he said we would dispute it because he knows we were over the mileage limit when we turned it in. So I called her back and left a v.m. message that I was disputing it and I wanted documentation.

I paid them in full last week and now they took $130 out of my account today. What is up with that? Looks like I will be doing battle on the phone today. :x

hello friends..is there anyone out there that can tell me what to do?..i signed up with town and country and i'm pleased that they assisted me ..however, these PDL companies keep attacking my bank acct...i closed the acct but every time they attempt to withdraw funds..it reopens the acct...i also don't understand why if T&C notified them why they continue to attack my acct!!..i wanted to send them a letter notifying them of the closed acct but T&C says i shouldn't..at least..I..

I went on american debt foundation and found out that three people were very unhappy and have said they have been ripped off i don't know what to do i am loosing sleep as we speak. Someone with true honesty please get back to me and let me know recently did they treat you any different when you left messages.i notice they are not as friendly as they where at first. I have left plenty of messages and they say they haven't received any. This is the first month but the credit card people won't leave me alone since last month. Day and night they are harassing me. Please help!

Hi I took out a loan with a quick payday company and now they are calling and harassing me and telling me i owe them 800 dollars when the loan was original only 500 dollars. They keep on telling that they are going to garnish my wages. Are they allowed to garnish my wages for a quick payday loan

is this company legitimate? can i borrow from them? i am desperate!!!!!!!

I see a lot of people on here recommend calling your credit card company & asking them for help-either by cutting interest rates or working out a payment plan. My question...I have 2 credit cards I have debt on & I'm behind by one payment. I've been sending in what I can to them, but I'm still not current. Would the credit card companies be willing to work out payment plans or cut rates if you've been sending in money....just not what the minimum is? Or should I not even bother with them & just go with consolidation.
