I had submitted to the DFI an update on AIP sending me a refund and asked if I had to submit a new complaint in regards to World Wide Cash for a refund. Well, the gist of the email for the laws of WI stated since WWC didn't directly solicit me for the loan, as they had found my information through a "lead" generation source, the DFI doesn't have juridisdiction to demand WWC to refund my money. So I just have to continue the fight on my own. I've resubmitted my complaint with the FTC and BBB, though.

First received a letter last week from First national Collection Bureau. They purchased a credit card debt I had with Sears in 11/03. They are now sending a letter stating that I owe $840.54. What is the statue of limitations on purchased debt? I live in VA, but debt was incurred while I lived in NC. Second, pulled credit report to look at how much it would take to get everything clean and Equifax has more debt than the other credit bureaus. They have debts that just say medical and only have an account number. No other information there. How do I know when these will drop off?

I need a company that will negotiate and consolidate 15 payday loans

I have 2 PDLs through 2 different store front PDL offices. I also have some credit card debt. The PDL interest payments are killing me. I would like to get in to a debt consolidation program where I make 1 lower payment and they distribute the money to my collectors but I need the PDLs to be included as well. Can a debt consolidation program do that? I have talked to 3 different debt consolidation companies.

I have an old account from 1995 on my credit report that was listed as "KD". This account was covered under a bankruptcy in 1998. I disputed the item through Experian where it was listed and recently got their results stating that it was updated. The account now reads "OK" for Feb 2005 and the payment status and comments read "Account transferred to another office", "Transferred to another lender or claim purchased" Shouldn't they remove this account altogether since it was discharged in a bankruptcy and certainly well past SOL in FL? What can I do to get it removed?

Hi guys, Well, after much thought, I have decided to close all my accounts at Washington Mutual, the bank I have been with for quite some time now. I had opened a new checking account with them, but I just don't feel it's safe. I can't trust that these scummy companies won't get hold of my new account information. So, off to other banks I go. Besides, Washington Mutual used to be a good bank, but they have changed lately. Now, when you call their CS number, you get connected to someone in the India or wherever. That turns me off.

I've been getting emails for Westbery everyday demanding the name of my attorney and my immediate supervisor. I had sent them a letter to remove wage assignments and no communication besides USPS or email. Also reported them to the BBB and AG a little over a week ago(no reponse as of yet!). The orig. loan was for 300 and I've paid 180 so I'm tring to get them to settle for the balance that I legally owe by my state laws. They are not licensed in my state and the law has a intrest cap on non-lic lenders.
