So 7 or so months ago, I set up a bank account with Harbor Federal in Orlando, FL. This bank was then changed over to a branch of National City. I was very close with the tellers (they knew who I was) and everytime I would go they expressed it was not necessary for me to fill out a withdrawel slip as they know me and they could just do it. Everytime, I also checked my account balance.

Has anybody had any luck with the storefrons. I am in Kansas. I have Speedy cash, American Payday, and Ace left. All of them are $575 or $565 to pay in full. I've been doing loans there a couple years. Thanks!

OK so I am a 22 year old who has just been really dumb with my Money. When i went to college I started spending more than my means. I have been working a steady full time job now making good money, but i just cant seem to save. I also am trying to move out of my parents house but i am scared to because i not only want to get all these collection agencies off my back before i do, but will I be able to be responsible with my money I really need some help learning to save and manage my money better.

Seems like a common theme with these PDL companies!!! I too put myself in a bad situation gone worse by taking out several pay day loans.. some to help pay the original... a cycle that is neverending! I am paying 2400.00 month in "fees" and am not even paying off the principal!!! What was I thinking!!! I have read dozens of posts and they are legal in TX... however I see where they have abused the law and several people have been able to get out of these by getting a paid in full status.. can someone help me on where to start and how to figure out if in fact I can legally get out...

Not sure if this is the right spot for it on the forum or not, but I found a place for people who need assistance with basic living needs like rent, moving costs, medical emergencies, back utilities, etc. I am trying it out myself because after getting out of the payday loan trap and the high winter bill, we got behind. So I will update you on the progress at Modest Needs. As far as I understand it, it's not a loan, but a donation, but you do have to demonstrate a true need to back up your request with documentation.
