Since im read this wonderful forum and follow all your advises, at last i received my paycheck complete. I closed my account and change my direct deposit to paper, emailed all the PDL companies revoking authorization and called my employer to advise them. Now I'm dealing with the phone calls, but Im not afraid of them. thanks again and keep ypur good work

I was thinking today about which of my payday loans to try to clear next in my one at a time plan. Since I got 2 voice mails and 2 emails from CPD for MCN today.... I guess that is where I start this week. They of course did not mention getting my cease and desist letter. So I pasted it into an email and am trying to send that through.I also added that I had filed complaints with the AG,DFI,BBB and FTC. Anyone have a current email or street address for them?

Hi, I have a question regarding debt collecting regulations. I purchased an internet service for several months and at the end i had a remaining balance that i was not aware of. I now understand the vendor tried sending a letter via email requesting the balance due. Im not on the computer often to check email and at the time of this notice i was employed out of state for several months.

I got behind on my debts when my mother died. I was making my payments on time and everything was fine. When my mother passed away, I had to start helping my father pay bills. I had the choice to pay my bills or for us to have food on the table. I chose my family. My dad ended up filing backruptcy because he could never dig his way out of debt. I was then so behind on my debts I didn't know what to do. I am now a little older, and I want to clear this off of my credit. Please help! :(

I have a hold on my bank account requested by Asset Acceptance.Despite the fact that i'm the head of household,the attorney i have contected for advice told me not to lose more money trying to fight it.He said that I should ask Asset Acceptance to send me the necessary papers to sign that i agree for them to take what i owe, and release the rest of the money. It is more than a week since I call them every two days requesting this,and I don't receive anything. Is there any way to force them to move faster,and have again acces to my bank account?

Hi everyone. I am filing bankruptcy chapter 7. The question I have is that the payday loans I took out say that I cannot file bankrupty on them. Does anyone know if this is true? Also, the will not contact the attorney that I am dealing with. Has any been through this before? Thank you.

Well I'm off on the journey of trying to get all the address' for all the PDL's I have and send out some letters. And to get my financial freedom back again!!!!! I get the feeling that this is gonna be a long journey!!!

I have a couple questions 1. are the following companies the same overall company with different names? The Loan Shop* Cash Express* Arrowhead Investments CashNet Total Lending PD6 Ventures* I know a few with the * are the same company but are the others related in anyway? 2. if you live in a state that prohibits PDL a- how does the person get a PDL? and how can they collect on it if it is "prohibited" by that state? ( assuming one is getting PDL over internet) I have been reading this site for a few days, and I thought i would ask those questions. thanks.

My wife and I are looking into CC. The only thing that is stopping us is this... 2 of our major monthly payments is a large loan cosigned by her mother & a large credit card cosigned by her father.
