If I send a verification of debt letter to a collector, do they have a limited amount of time respond with verification? Thanks.

Got a response from the BBB regarding US Fast Cash - who has been totally ignoring me & sending my emails back to me. They stated their exact same worded document that I've received from my other MTE Financial pdl's. Exact wording. However, they state that my loan for $350 is now $560.00. They then went on to state that they will offer me a "reduced settlement" of $350 if I pay by Money Gram by 7/20/2007. If I don't pay $350 by 7/20/07, they will then proceed with collections for $560.00. Ummmm....if I had $350 laying around, do you think I would be in this whole pdl mess?

Has anyone dealt with this company before and had success with getting a refund from them? I had paid off my loan back with them in March, and I'm considering getting a refund if it's a possibility. At the same time, I don't want to be wasting my time if it going to to turn to be beating a dead horse.

I am not being sued (watch, I jinxed it), but in order to be sued, does the attorney suing you need to be in your state? I think I heard that somewhere. Any information on this would be helpful to keep in mind.

Hello again: I have contacted all of my PDLs in writing (via email, fax, and just placed it into the mail) regarding revoking their right to debit my account and setting up a payment plan. The few companies that have contacted me back are stating that my payment plan of $100 a month is not acceptable. Granted these have only been CALLS back to us and from those nasty collectors. :evil: Is there any suggestions as to what to do next? Should I just send them payments in the mail - because I am told that they will always take the money???

I ahve been ripped off at the tune of 450 per month and told I slipped through the cracks. and the money was being held in a trust. I have paid 450 per month for 4 months and they have done nothing and have not returned my phone calls. I am here if any one else needs help in this matter we have to do something . They are preying off ot the desparate people.

i live in oregon where they just changed the laws which im glad . i had 7pdl im down to 4 cashnetusa 400 DMS 260 im paying off those 2 next month. im having diffculities with my other bills but im getting by. my question is am i sure the loans i have pd off and i have called them they wont be taking anymore out. and what if they do
