I just received a phone call from someone named Sean at 305-396-6625. He lft a voicemail message, in very broken English, and I couldn't hardly understand him. All I could make out of the phone conversation was something about a legal file being filed against me and if I didn't call by 1:00 only GOD could get me out of this matter. When I called to clarify what he was talking about, he immediately started verbally attacking me and accusing me of not wanting to take care of this legal matter, so I needed to hire an attorney and hung up.

Not sure if anyone saw 20/20 on Friday night, think it was a repeat anyway, but i dvr'ed it and watched last night! WOW, i think they had Bass on there! They showed how debt collectors were treating people with phone calls and touched on the new consumer laws to protect consumers from these JERKS! Just thought i'd share, Ang

Hi all, I posted a question on this board not too long ago about a negotiator who runs a forum called ***********. after receiving some positive feedback from members here I enrolled in his program. He seems to be a one man show which is great dealing with only one person. Anyway, I am very pleased with his service thus far. I have settled 3 out of 4 accounts all for less than 30%. I don't know how he does what he does but he saved my marriage and a ton of money. I highly recommend his services.

I am a 26 year old single of two beautiful little girls. I am seeking help with debt because I had a bad start when I was 18 with my credit. I would walk into stores and they would offer me a credit card and never asked if I was employed. Well due to my own fault I started using them. The things were nice but the bills just kept comming to quick...It finnally stopped but now I am stuck here with debt. Now my children want a backyard to play in and I cant get a loan for a house. We need a new car and can't get an auto loan.

I was recently working in the Middle East (Doha, Qatar), I had to return back to the United States for personal reasons, I left about $27,000 in credit card debt in the Middle East, can this follow me back to the United States? I left the country for safety reasons; I did not feel safe working there. What are the repercussions of leaving that debt over there? Thanks for your help.

Let me start by saying this is an embarasing situation and I can't seem to pull myself out. I"M IN WAY OVER MY HEAD!!!! I usually work two jobs however my hours have been drastically cut at one of them. I had an emergency situation where I had to move pronto. There was no way to come up with the security deposit for a new apt plus first months rent and last months rent on the old apt. I took out payday loans to cover the excess. BIG MISTAKE. I had to take out more payday loans to cover my bills.

Hello all, thank for great site - sadly found it too late. I'm only 7 years in US (legally -Green Card), but did a lot of mistakes with CC. Now trying get rid of debts. Sad part - my wife's credit was damaged too (after she's got brain surgery). She's got Chase CC with 5k limit, that was used for medical /emergency. Last tarnsaction was in dec 2005. Then the debt was sold several times. In May we recived letter from Maima attorney working for CACH LLC, My mistake - I did'nt sent Validation letter. They called twice, that is it.
