I recently received a settlement opportunity letter from MCM account no 85218*****. The original creditor is from First National Bank, I made an inquired about the account since I was not aware of the dept. The last action on this dept was in May 2000 which is past the statute of limitations for MA. I have no record of this dept and the SOL has passed. What will be my next step? I see that 90% of the revenue for PDL industry comes from renewal, does they charge renewal cost as well. Say if I am taking $100 as PDL, how does the whole cycle work.

• (if paid) - 14 days - $100 + $15
• (else) - 14 days - Pay $15 + (is there a renewal charge?) + ($100 still remains due for next 14 days)
• (if paid) - 28 days - $100 + 15

End of the cycle (after 28 days) did I pay $130 or more? Are there other costs like account creation etc. Can some explain me more about PDL processes. Your Racker.

In 1987, I enrolled in night school with a commercial college. With an agreement ,only if US goverment helped with the loan.Im a Vietnam Vet.I signed a 1500.00 dollar check. Weeks into my enrollment, I learned I was getting no help. I Have the contract thats reads , with VA help. Now to date, I've pay Over 5000.00 for this loan. But Now I'm still oweing 6800.00.Now I hear I can File a discharge because I didnt graduate or have a GED.Is this True?
