A couple days ago I received a letter from a Law Firm stating that they were collecting for Capital One. The said they had not made a decision as to whether to file a suit against me or not. They said I can call them to make payment arrangements. I sent a validation letter a few days ago. If they don't hear from me to make payment arrangements does this mean they will sue me or is this just a scare tactic to get me to pay?

Got Platinum Finance to issue a paid in full! I even discussed a refund but of course they explained the NY laws are still in a gray area. That's OK by me I'll see what the AG can do - I emailed everyone again today and communicated my terms. I gave them seven days to respond in a favorable way and I would withdraw there names from the AG complaint. (Of course the AG already has my complaint in hand so I'm not too sure how that will work!)

I need help...I have 6 PDL's, one is store front and the others are all internet based that are not licensed in Indiana. I am getting phone calls telling my they are going to contact my employer and take my check and put a warrant out for my arrest!! Can any of this be true?

Can this company get my bank info? I took out a loan from them and payed them off over a year ago and now they are saying I owe them more. They said they will use check recovery to find my new bank account, can they do this?

I'm thinking about getting on of the Pre Paid credit/debit cards from work. Since I have no bank accounts or credit cards, this is a possibility I've been thinking about. Says no credit check needed. Would be direct depositing biweekly paychecks into said account. But, my biggest concern right now is, can a credit agency attack this type of account?

Does anyone know if Apple payday does business as another PDL company? I got a call from United Processing threatening me about an Apple Payday loan but I don't have one from Apple. I have several others and this forum has been wonderful in helping me get out of this mess!! Thanks.
