Hello, I am new to this forum, but I have been reading through a lot of the information. My husband and I have taken out 7 internet payday loans total. I have filed complaints with the Attorney General's office and the BBB on a few that are charging more interest than is allowed in the State of Oklahoma. Now, I need to close my bank account and stop all these ACH debits. We were going to try to pay off these loans, but it's eating up our paychecks. I could not find a letter to send to the payday companies requesting the ACH debits to stop. Can anyone help me?

I received another response from MTE. I'm going to drive off a cliff! They are stating that on a $300 loan, I have paid $180.00. My state maximum is $352.05. However, they are stating that they are going by KY laws (as a courtesty to my confusion. LOL!)with the max allowed of $17.65 per $100. Okay. but they're coming up with $267.50. I'm coming up with $172.05 by KY law amounts. Here's what they're doing. They're counting a 14 day loan w/the $90 interest payment as one loan. Then another 14 day loan w/the $90 interest payment. Then one more.

I have made arrangements with the storefront pdl. Now I just have the ipdl's to deal with. I saw the laws for Nevada: What does all this mean? How do I determine what I have paid back? Does the interest payment count for what I have paid back as far as overpaying them?

Got a BBB response today regarding Cash Today. The informed me that the company has not responded to their requests at all. They asked me to fill out the on-line response. I told them I've had no contact with Cash Today either. So.....don't know what the next step is. I guess the BBB will consider it a dead end. I'll keep you posted.

Got a response from the BBB today regarding National Opportunities d/b/a It's My Pay Day. As you've read my posts, you know that a refund "magically" appeared in my old bank account. So that's what these pdl's are doing. They are being contacted by the BBB, then they take action, then they respond to the BBB afterward like they've been angels all along. The BBB sent me the letter written by National Opportunities.

Anybody have anything on 1800899CASH? I have sent numberous emails and faxes but there recovery guy keeps calling me. We connected today and he went off on me about being fruadulent etc.etc. I asked for a direct email or mailing address so that our conversations could be documented and he said that isn't how we do business. I responded with I'm not going to talk about this on the phone - you have my contact information via email or home address, Goodby. (and I hung up) Who knows who all heard me (I'm at work) all I know is that I feel like I have been hit in the gut.
