Ive been in contact with the AG's office and have had 3 responses from them the lastest is that they forwarded it to another AG's office in Philadelphia.So come on PA ppl get ahold of the AG they r listening.Waiting to hear back from the new office.

Just want to pay off all the debts I owe before I'm 80.

I'm in the payday loan trap. I took out one and that lead me to take out another one and so one. I have five that have unlimited refinancing and I contacted my bank to do stop payments. I tried to contact a lawyer and was basically told you took them out you pay them. What do I do? I can't close my account based on a negetive balance.

Okay, I might be the biggest dunce on Earth but I have a couple of questions about the new forum. What is allowed in there and what is not? Are all pdl topics eventually going to be guided or posted there? I noticed a topic that really shouldn't be in there since it deals with a debt settlement company. I was just curious.

I have been reading the posts on the board here, and it is somewhat comforting (I don't know if that's the correct word) to know that I'm not alone in my situation. I have been caught up in the sick cycle of the payday lenders due to an urgent need for cash and now I don't know what to do! I can't believe that it ever got this bad. I now have a wife and young daughter I need to provide for, and I need to step up and be a man. Right now all I feel like doing is breaking down and crying.

So i joined true credit and it's awesome! Only problem i'm having is, every time i try to log in it gives me the prompt that my userid or password is incorrect! I know i'm using the right one, so it lets me reset my password and i reset it each time to the exact same password, yet next time i try to login same thing happens!! ANy suggestions?? Thanks, Ang

This is one of my ipdls that I left listed with my dmp because I still owe them a little.I have paid $180. on a $200. loan but I imagine they have added a ton of other charges by now. I got an email from them asking if I forgot them...LOL. Evidentally my dmp counsilor has had trouble contacting them. In any case...I have the address now and such but am wondering if anyone else has dealt with them...are they also a part of another dba??? Any info will help...thanks!!

I am trying to understand the laws. Lets take http://dfi.wa.gov/consumers/paydaywp.htm for example. It says, for Washington State

• Maximum Loan Term: 45 days
• Maximum Loan Amount: $700
• Maximum Fee: 15% on the first $500 and 10% above $500

For Example:

• A loan for $500 + $75 fee = $575
• A loan for $700 + $95 fee = $795

How to interpret this law? What does 45 days of Maximum Loan Term mean. Can someone please explain me with this law? a biggy thanks
