:( i have a loan with arrowhead investments. I had to close my account because some one stoled all my password and even my bank account number . I couldn't prove it . So arrowhead investments is coming after me because i owe them 300 it turned out that they put more money on it some how and it turned out to be $730 i can't afford that. I have a job but it barley pays my bills. they threated me over the phone with a law and imprisament.what can i do i don't want to go to jail and leave my family in the street.

Recd a letter from Solomon & Solomon, a CA in Albany, NY under the guise of a privacy notice - you know ability to opt out, yada, yada, yada.. However, it had an account no. When I called the rude witch was very nasty. I told her this debt needs to be validated. She then said its two years old, but I never heard anything from them. I guess its some type of card with the First National Bank of Morin for over $1000. and Solomon is collecting for Columbia Funding.

After requesting audit#'s from three payday advance loan companies (paydayok, usfastcash and Unitedloans) via email, and advising them that I had filed complaints against them with my State Attorney's Office, USFastCash responded with "We will forward your request to the appropriate department." Gee, think that means they are not licensed in Florida (or anywhere else?) So, add that request to your emails/letters when dealing with these people. They have to have an audit # if they are licensed in your state.

Like other people here I am caught in the trap. So far i have 6 advances in Ohio. All stores and 3 due a week. MTE has contacted me via email. They are proposing a settlement. However, it is on a $300 loan. I had to go back through and check what the heck loan they were referring to since they go by 17 different pdl names and I have 3 with them! I figured out which one it was. I responded to them. They are proposing a settlement according to my state laws; however, they are coming up with a higher amount because they are counting it as THREE loans. This way they aren't calling it a "rollover" or a "renewal", which are prohibited (actually these internet loans are illegal here - period).
