Company/Individual reported: midland credit management my husband got a phone call from these people friday saying that he had a bill he owed. he told them he no longer had the things that they said he owed for because he turn them back into the store before it closed that was back in 2003. he does not have any prove now because he has got a divorce since then but they say he still owes this what do u do with these people u cant understand u have to say excuse me over and over

In between paying back a family member for helping me through a rough time and paying off the delinquent amount on my credit card ($500), and my regular bills, I'm not going to be able to pay 2 licensed internet pdls for July. I made a payment of $20 to Cashnetusa and just sent a money order for $44 to Cashcentral this weekend. No emails or calls from either place since I've made arrangments, but I am just worried about the calls starting again because I know I can't pay anything for this coming month. :(

Hello, I'm in California. I borrowed $10,000 from CashCall at 39%. I haven't made 3 payments. I now owe over $11,000. I want to reduce the interest rate, however they say they don't do that. At 39%, it'd take forever to pay them off. Like a perpetual tithe. I heard that if we go to court and they receive a judgment by the court for me to pay them, will it be at 39% as well or is there a maximum rate the court will allow? Thanks, Steve

I Just got an e-mail from one of my internet payday lender Purpose loans stating they accept my letter of how much i legally owe them and accepting my payment plan. They also stated they will mark my account paid in full when i pay the amount, and no negative remarks will be made with any reporting agency. Well i just checked my credit report and Purpose Loans had left a negative remark of past due 2 payments on my credit report. I am supposed start payment plan at the begining of next month...

Got an email from National Opportunities d/b/a It's My Pay Day. After faxing/emailing/mailing them for 3 weeks and being totally ignored, I receieved an email today. I do believe it wasn't due to my efforts. I filed complaints with EVERY agency you can think of. Suddenly, after all my attempts and being ignored - I get an email stating that my loan has been "written off" (it was actually overpaid!), that the balance is now zero, and the issue has been resolved. I'm sure this isn't due to anything I did with the exception of filing the complaints. So keep filing those complaints!

My parents were paying my tuition, I had no loans or fed Aid. They stopped and resulted in me owning the university $7300. The university sent that to a debt collection agency and I now owe 9800. I am trying to enlist in the Army to get money to pay that off but, my recruiter said it might be a problem if im in default. So if anyone could tell me if I am, that would help ALOT. thank you
