Ok today I just got a package in the mail from NCO. here's what the letter said. It contains a small letter from them that has a reference number, creditor, account number and total balance. This is followed by the last 2 years worth of credit statements from American Express. Does that count as validation?

I need serious advice here... We got served our summons tonight at home. We have 20 days to file an answer, yet they did not provide us with an answer form. How do I answer? Type up a letter or what? I am in debt settlement company, do I deny the complaints or do I admit and then state my defenses, which is that I am in debt settlement company. ** I was told to fax it immediatly into my debt settlement company, so in the mean time they can call and try to settle/make arrangements outside of court.** Back to my answer? I don't know what to do or how to answer any part of it.

Has anyone ever used their debit card to pay Cashcentral and Cashnetusa before? Right now I am using money orders to pay them. I called Cashnetusa last week to let them know I sent in a payment and they said for money orders, it can take 3 weeks to process! Sheesh. Anyway, has anyone had problems where these 2 companies tried to take out more money than was authorized? I am curious because these two lenders are licensed internet lenders.

Not trying to flame but in reading this board I have seen the names and personal phone numbers of Collectors, Owners and Managers of collection agencies published on this sight. Just curious would like a legit answer as a collector how would any of you feel if I started a sight publishing your names and phone numbers. You would hate it and yell about fdcpa. Two wrongs do not make a right how does publishing cell numbers help you improve your situation?

ok, I have been getting calls from LTD Financial. To this day, they have yet to even tell me on any of these calls what this is about. But clearly, they are a CA.... They have been calling since around April or so. Often, they call as much as five times a day. Their worst was five times in less than two hours. So, my wife has put together a full record of each call, the number it came from, day and time, etc etc etc. She even took pics of the caller id showing these calls. So, now that we have seen how many times they will call, I sent off a DV letter.
