Hi, my name is Kelly Homan and im 20 years old. About 5 months ago or sometime around october. I got my first real good job with coca cola making good money. I was also in college at the time taking full time classes. I had a bank account which was never negative until i got 2 credit cards. Then i needed money from check to check so i got about 7 pdl's and 5 of them were off the internet. On all 5 of them, none of them were more the 375 dollars each. Each month they took a payment out which was the loan amount i borrowed.

About two years ago we had our phone number changed. About six months ago we started getting messages on the answering machine from someone who said they were a debt collector and they were looking for a Charlotte Hutchinson. We told them we didn't know her and they had reached the wrong number. The calls would keep coming about two or three times a month. We told them to please take our number off their call list and not to call anymore. The last call on June 1, 2007, I told the lady at Redline that I would be reporting the company to State and Federal authorities.

I cancelleed with your company due to the fact that if I inquired as to the status of my account, anything, wanted to know anything, my questions were never answered. I was told I would get a refund 60 days after I cancelled. When I called to inquire, they said the fees all went to an Attorney. Funny, all the complaints about you say the same thing. I asked to speak with an Attorney twice and was not allowed to. We were told that our first 3 payments were for Attorney fees. When I asked several times for an itemized statement, I never got one.

Question for my DebtCC family members... I have a relative who has asked my help with a debt that is most likely out of the SOL. She's in Michigan, it's a credit card debt (and thus is considered unsecured debt), and she has no idea when the last payment was made.

My husband and I both had loans at licensed storefront which we have defaulted on. I called the collections department the day both loans were due to alert to them to the situation and that the checks would come back account closed. I was threatened by one of their reps and she stated she was going to contact my employer and disconnected. So I didn't want to call due to this experience. Today I get a call from this woman's manager. He started out being nice and I explained to him that I had called and was threatened while trying to make arrangements.

I got an e-mail back from Cashnet USA. My loan is due Friday for $200 and the accout is closed. I sent them revocation of ACH authorization and wage assignment revocation just in case. I am starting with T & C on Friday also when I send my first payment. The e-mail from CashnetUSA asks me to call them to set up "acceptable" payment arrangements or ALL collection activity will continue. I know that T & C will be proposing $20 per month but should I call them? Should I tell them I'm working with T & C and have them wait for the proposal?

I finally heard back from One Click cash after waiting what feels like forever (only 2 weeks in reality). Unfortunately it was only the standard form letter telling me that I had sent them a form letter. This was my response: Quote:
