Hi everyone, Well, I had my husband deal with the car loan people yesterday because our car payment was due on the 11th and there is no grace period on the loan. He bascially told them if you take away my car, then I won't be able to pay you because I need the car to get to work. They agreed to set up payment arrangements for payday (next week) and he also did a post-dated check for the next month's payment.

I am a widow of age 75. My husband passed away 7 months ago, and i have been inundated with harassing bills from hospitals and the like. I do not have any money to pay these bills, and they have now sent them to collection agencies. How can i handle this?

Hi guys, I found some time this week, so I've landed the first big design change to the homepage in ... well a long time. I'm hoping this page will make the forums much more prominent, so prepare for some increases in new people posting questions!!! Are there any banks that will help you consolidate payday loans into one payment....just asking???

Do they require a cheking account? Also do they require a credit check?

Hi my name is jovan, I was in the military for 4 years and got out thinking everything would be fine. Little did I know I started geting payday loans not begin able to pay them back, and having them go to collections. I got a car loan through the navy that got really messed up dealing with my bank and having I.D theift with my account. Aslo I have some problems with over-drawling with a bank and not beging able to pay them back all in full. I would really like help in getting my credit back on track and paying everything off. you might all remember my letter to cashnet usa i posted a week ago stating my laws and telling them there not licinse.. well there puting up a fight with me.. im telling them there not licinse to do bussiness in minnesota and that i only pay the principle..well there keep on calling and im starting a new tactic everytime they call before they have a chance to speak ill tell them ill only discuss my account thru the mail and see how long they will call.. ive been floading there email and fax with the same letter, minnesota's payday loan law and the fair debt collection laws..

I'll try to make this as brief as possible. Bought a computer in 2000. It went to collections after financial hardship, then charged off in 2001. Bounced through 3 different collection agencies over the cource of the next 3 yrs. We'd make payments arrangements and then my husband would get laid off. When we'd call back to make new arrangements, it was sold to another agency. Back to square one. From 2001 to 2004, there was no additional interest charged to the account. (charged off at $3100 in 2001) In 2005, Portfolio was granted ownership of this account.
