So you are trying to get money back from Payday Select? I have a past due account with them and called to try to work out a payment plan. I took out a $500 loan and now the balance is $741.00. Brandy said they would settle if I paid them $500.00. I have already paid 374.00 in fees alone. What should I do??

Okay, so I have gone back and forth with Payday Select, they owe me about $2000 from overcharging. The first offer was for $250, I told them I would settle for $1000, they just emailed me today and said that they would settle for $500, but they are unable to settle for $100 at this time. I have two questions: 1. Has anyone ever received a refund from these people? And if so, how much was it and how much did they actually owe you? 2.

I cannot thank the people on this forum enough for the help you have provided me. Town & Country consolidated my payday loan debt, and is taking care of talking with the creditors so they don't call me! They said to direct any callers to them. I sent my letters to all of them, certified mail with a return reciept. And, I closed my bank account and put a "Post No Debits" to the account. The interent PDL's will try and put their payment through, but it will bounce back! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, for helping me to gain control over my life back!

I have 5 outstanding internet payday loans from (Sonic, Access Processing, AIP, Total Lending and USA Payday) that are all in default. Now I know the state of NC prohibits payday lending. What is the rule of thumb in conjuction with the laws of NC for them getting their money back with scare tactics?

i got a phone call from united recovery system and they are so rude... i had an amex card and i got delinquent 'coz i can't pay it any more and they gave it to urs. i set up a payment with them last feb and 400 went thru but the last two payment did not 'coz my bank closed my account 'coz i had many nsf 'coz of payday loan... i want to settle this acct and i told them to call back next friday because i'm talking to a financial counselor... but he said i don't care do what u want and he said to talk a lawyer now. 'coz they will take it to outside attorney... this people is unconsiderate...
