I have a business debt that was picked up my Encore RMI by my original creditor. Turns out they called my mother halfway across the country looking for me, when they had my numner the whole time. They were infact calling me, but because they are not willing to accept any other form of payment accept for payment in full, I refuse to talk to them. So to get my really upset, they called my mother and lied to her stating that I had put her down a referance for some vender services that they were offering me.

I need a good company that can help me find a way out of my PDL nightmare. If I don't make a very large payment to the shady Westbury Ventures they are threatening legal action against me.

I had a credit card that was written off in 2002 and recently received a call from a CA about this account. The CA pulled a copy of my report on 4/19. Over the phone, the CA stated that the debt was listed on my 'bureau'. I paid for a report from all 3 bureaus and the debt is not listed on any of these.My report was on 4/29. Could this be a ploy to find money. Is the CA able to wipe out the old creditor (citibank) and put their name in the future? Advice?

Does anyone know the PDL laws in South Dakota? I'm working on getting out from under the PDL nightmare I've created for myself. I've contacted T&C which is sending out some info on how to deal with a consolidation.

I live in az. Came here with excellent credit, i believe some of the credit cards I received in ma, some in Az. I now have credit card debt that has not been paid since 03. Last date of activity. Sol is for which state ma or az?

Hi everyone, I have a couple questions. How long is the statute of limitations on collecting a consumer loan debt? Back in 1998, I took out a loan for 8k and began making payments immediately but after a year, I moved overseas and lived there for seven years. I had a major debt problem that started with college loans and this loan, for 8k, got lost in the shuffle. I've sinced moved back to the US and after a year, I got a letter from a texas based collection agency demanding I pay back the loan.

I have a lot of credit debt on my credit report and I want to clean up my credit.

Does debt consolidation go on your credit? Please let me know!!!!

ameriloan has marked my account paid in full. I had 9 internet pdls. I have paid more than the legal amount per CA laws on all but one. Ameriloan makes three that have marked my account paid in full. Again, I thank everyone here at this site that gave me information and encouragement that made this possible. Six more to go!
