back in 1996 my mother put me on a credit card as a co-applicant (or maybe an authorized user, i'm not sure). she never paid off her debt, left the country, and the debt collectors came after me. i never signed a single thing, never asked to be a co-applicant. but since 1998 they've had a judgement against me (in california) and put a lien on my bank account. i closed my bank account, left the US to go to grad school abroad. Want to move back to the US now, open a bank account, buy house/car, but afraid that the debt collectors will try to collect their money.

My job is slowing down and money is not getting in quick enough.

Can you please advise if you charge a monthly fee for your service and if so, how much that fee is? Thanks! Tammie

As many of you all know I have a sick little boy. I traveled to UVA with him after being assured in my state that he had no problems with his colon. Well folks he does and it is serious. For the next twenty days he will be on medication if this does not work he will possibly have to have some very complicated surgery. I really need your prayers. I have not been able to be on very much but I am always thinking of you all. This news has been about the last straw for me I dont think I can take a whole lot more. i have 8 payday loans online and 2 store front payday loans. the online loans take there fees out of my account before my credit union even opens leaving me sometimes with nothing to pay bills. i remember appling for one and getting three in credit union. i know i wasnt thinging right but with back trouble a couple years ago got addicted to pain pills have kicked the habit through help of friends but now fixing this financial mess i made is very depressing dont know where to start.

how do i contact my creditors for past bills??? and is there one number i can ask to find out what i owe and the numbers of my creditors?/

I have two student loans in collections that total around 12,000$$. Only one of the loans is threatening garnishment, whose total is about 3k. However, I only make $11 dollars an hour, my rent is 850 p/mo not including gas and food! My loan is now in a consolidation program, but they want me to open a checking account before they will help me. I don't even have enough money to set in a bank account, as soon as I get my paycheck, it is cashed and goes to bills.
