Greetings, Awesome website! Hopefully someone can help? I am getting my (for lack of a better expression) "butt" kicked by Asset Acceptance. I was served sometime back in February with a lawsuit in reference to a credit card I had when I was younger. The debt is mine, has been validated with statements, and an acceptance form that I had initially signed to obtain the card. The original Debt was with Providian (bought by WAMU). I have already been to motion for dismissal hearing in which unfortunately was denied.

Why am I having to keep logging in everytime I go to a thread? This is 2nband. If I go from one place to another, I keep having to log in each time.

I have been dealing with a Chase cc debt with Vikings Collection, but they insisted on a lump sum I can't come up with. Many of the forum users suggested me writing to Chase directly, which I did, but only to their PO address on the back of the cc. Haven't heard from them yet and would like to send a certified mail again, but it is almost close to impossible to find that Dept.'s mailling address (not PO). Does anyone know who should I write to?? Thanks.

Hello All I am in a pdl nightmare. I have already closed my old bank acct and opened a new one at a different bank.

Currently between my husband and myself we have 8 pay day loans out between the amounts of $200 and $500. I need HELP!

First of all I am a ex fire fighter, cancer survivor. I a truly thankful to be alive. A number of years ago i was treated for Leukemia, now, things are going quiet nice. My wife and I own our home. We have two car payments the balance of both vehicle total about $8000.00 but our monthly payment is about $800.00 I would like to see if we could lower these payments. The vehicles are Chevy 4x z71 ext cab and a VW cabrio convertable. We also have a loan of $2000.00 The vehicles are in great condition. We are not late with our payments but we would like to consolidate our bills.

My husband has a garnishment for his student loans (we spent the last nine months rehabbing mine and now its out of default, yeah), Missouri garnishment is going from 10% to 15% and we want to start rehabbing his. They told us to send the garnishment adjustment form and an offer of repayment. We can afford to pay more than the 10% they currently garnish, but less than the 15% they would get with the new law. Would it be appropriate to make the offer or are we just shooting ourselves in the foot? They just received a good amount from our Federal tax return....
