Hi all.. Since my last visit, I've made some progress paying off 2 Debts. I still owe a few that I refuse to pay for.. They remain on my credit report and have been there since 2000-2001... The funny thing is, I never even used the cards for anything, not one Cent! I cant justify paying for something that I cant account for.. Will these go away if I don't pay them? The accounts have been steady for over a year now and aren't accumulating anymore interest. I see on the report that the account has been, "paid" but how can it remain on my report with a balance?

More than 7 years ago I took out a loan for $5000.00. Unfortunately I was young and dumb and did not read the fine print. They were charging me 30% interest. I paid $200 a month for over a year but the loan only grew larger. I became frustrated and decided to stop paying it. I became delinquint in 1998. It popped up on my credit report about 4 years ago and I contacted the collection agency and tried to settle the debt. I offered to pay $3700 but they declined, yet they insisted I make a payment. I didn't.

I freely admit I have gotten myself into a real jam. I had a death in my family and desparately needed to go home. So...I have made the mistake of taking out several pdl's which I have never done before. I am now looking at my bank account which I watch closely and I cannot recognize some of the places now debiting my account. Who is Westbury? Who is Northway Debit and who do they really go too? HELP!!!

I have a credit card from an old job now they want to take me to court because I was paying and then I ran into some finachal problems. and then i have a sears card and some other little things. I am trying to get my life together and I need help. I only make 8.25 an hour on my job I pay 212.00 for rent but I know you guys can help me some way

Has anyone had any experience writing a letter to a payday loan company called "Authorized Payday"? If you have dealt with them regarding repayment, were you willing to negotiate or reduce your payment according to the laws of your state?
