I called some bankruptcy attorneys about filing for Chapter 7; all said I would be ideal for it, but one attorney said to think about not filing for it and blow all the creditors off b/c I have nothing for them to get; no assets or anything thing. That was shocking to hear and unheard of for me. Has anyone gone down that route and not do anything? I would feel weird and irresponsible if I didn't do anything.

Hi everyone, I'm new and have a question for anyone that can help. I (and Hubby) are trying to get out of debt (Duh arin't we all). My question is this- I was talking to someone from Total Debt Services to try and find out what I could do. We have tried to get a Home Eq. Loan but because of MY credit (not hubbies) we can't get one. All they want to do is refinance the home and start a new 30 year morg. when we only have 15 left on the one we have. SO.......This man from TDS tells me that in order to do a debt settlement we need to let all of our cards become pass due.

After thinking about how insane the phone call I got from "investigator" Alex Divine reguarding US National Bank telling me I was going to be "processed" at 1:00 PM (I still here :)) I actually laughed about it all day....US National bank DOES NOT want my money so what was the point of calling? To tell me that I was going to be arrested? LOL...OK- Yesterday I said I didnt think there was a point in filing complaints well, after sleeping on it I have decided to FIGHT BACK! The only thing I have to go on is the phone number the "investigator" gave me.
