With all the depressing topics of CA's harassing people, let's think of the CA's who are actually good and follow the law A couple years ago I defaulted on a student loan because the moronic people at the studen loan clearinghouse kept insisting that I wasn't in school even though I provided proof on numerous times that I was. Well eventually they got a company by the name of DCS to collect for me. The woman who first contacted me was wonderful, never once calling me a criminal, loser, deadbeat, etc. She offered me a chance to rehabilitate my debt.

I just had my son three and a hslf months ago and have hospital bills, I had insurance but because I was on disability, it termed and now I have huge bills plus my credit card debt and student loans which will be coming up. I have two kids I need to take care of and can barely make my rent. I need to figure soemthing out and fast. If I can get all my debt together and have one lump sum, that would be great. I would like to try to include my car payment on that as well.

My husband were doing fine until we hit a rock in the road. So we decided to take out a few payday loans. Now when I say a few I mean maybe 4 which now when I think about it really makes me sick. Well we just recently got the last one paid off I hope but they keep taking money out. I have done everything I know to do to stop them but they are always one step ahead. Mqaybe one day we will be through with them I hope anyway.

I have 4600.00 debt and am 20years old, the credit card companies call my house several times daily and I would like to pay them but dont know where to start. I only have 3 credit cards on this debt and a rather huge cell phone bill what would you suggest?

I have posted my correspondance with them here and have also complained to my AG. I heard from teh AG today and they are investigating the matter. I just got a voice mail here at work stating that if I don't call them within 24 hours they will take the next step of action against me. Should I call them or ignore them until the AG gets back with me?

I had a new item show up on my credit report from LHR, Inc., however, i have not received anything from them in the mail. I would like to send a validation letter to them. Should i go ahead and send a validation letter to them even though i havent received anything from them in writing? What should i do? Also, what kind of validate letter should i use since most of the letters reference letters that are received in the mail. Thanks in advance.

hi i'm angelou. i'm very much pressured with legal companies calling me already about settling for my 4 credit cards payments. just last aug, i resigned from my 5-yr work to venture into a new career type, employment in a cruise liner based in seattle washington...so for the past 6 months, since i'm from the philippines, all of my savings i had used up for the processing of my papers for employment abroad, i wasn't able to pay contiuously my 4 credit card accountables.
