I sent emails and faxes to both these companies yesterday revoking ach debits and proposing a settlement for me to pay the principle off by money order. I got responses from them saying they are reviewing them and will let me know by Friday. The emails must all go to the same place because the responses came at the same time and signed by the same person! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hi: I am helping somenone who does not speak English and she received a letter from this agency claiming a debt she emphatically tells me she does not have, I helped her by requestong from them, as they instruct, the original debt, etc. We have not received an answer-- I called and was told they answered the letter but we have not received it; the conversation I had with one of their officials ended in him ginving me yet another phone number-- but no answers EVER! I have left messages, etc but still get nothing.

I rec'd a call from Allen Lewis And Associates regarding an Aero Advance pdl. I'm worried because I live in FL, and this office is located in FL, can I be prosecuted now because the pdl was assigned to an office in my state? However, according to FL law, criminal charges cannot be filed for a pdl. But I am still afraid that they will try to twist the facts somehow. I offerend to send them a $50 moneygram good-faith payment to begin settleing this account, but I was told to take the $50 and give it to a lawyer cause I would need one. They then hung up on me. I had an secured credit card account that was charged off after 180 days. Then, the creditor used my $50 deposit to pay on the account, which has had no activity since being delinquent and charged off. Did this deposit-payment reset the the SOL date?
