If I wrote a check and faxed a copy to a internet pdl, and it did not clear if they can press felony check fraud charges. I just got off the phone with this man that said he was a lawyer, but I couldn't find him in the Mississippi State Bar Association Members list, where he said he's from, but he has me scared...Any one know anything about this

I appreciate all the information that has been provided to me on this site. It is not that I doubt your kind patient advise or info. provided, but I have researched and found conflicting advise about requesting debt validation. I had planned to send out letter's today, but after doing some research on the subject, I am concerned. My source of info. advised against sending out Validation letters as it is a waste of time. Most CA's provide the info.

My life has changed so much since I came here last week: I have signed up with Town & Country to manage my open payday loans, I have started drafting letters to those PDL companies that I have already paid off in order to try to get a refund, I have started drafting letters to the attorney general in PA to complain, and I have work with two MARVELOUS ladies as my bank to close my account, and fillout forms to ENSURE that no ACH credites go through the closed account. I am still dealing with some calls, but now I refer them as politely as I can to T&C.

I had a car reposessed in 2005. It shows on my credit report that I owe the full amount of the loan. If the company that reposessed the car resold it, do they have to apply that amount towards my loan?

im dealing with norman &kalina which bought a pd loan debt of mine from a company ..anyways i still owe the company 20.00 but norman kalina is charging 145.00 minus the 20.00 i still owe the pd loan company. ok they left me a message while ago saying if they have not heard from me or my legal ppl by 11:00 am tomorrow they are filing breach of contract papers on me...first off can they do that and if so what does that mean for me??? im in tn. thank you so much...please respond ASAP
