I was just wondering if anyone could give me the information for some reputable debt consolidation companies. I have a couple of credit cards that I need to consolidate ASAP. THANKS!

I was a dumb teenager. I took more credit cards than I could pay. Now that I have a good job, i want to fix what i did, but I am living on my own and paying for everything myself. I cannot afford what the creditors want me to keep paying. I need help

I have accounts with two credit card companies. I was going through a hard time with a change in hours with emloyer and such. I got about 90 to 100 days past due with them both. Spoke with them and got one to close the account and make automatic payments each month. Spoke with the other to try and do the same thing (pay about $200 up front and then make monthly payments to pay off account) but they told me that if I didn't come up with at least half of the balance up front there was nothing they could do for me...that basically I would just have to wait for them to take me to court.

person owes money they die-they have no home ,no life insurance but they have credit card bills and a lot of them ,they are not married then how do their bills get paid.

My american express card has been sent to a collection agency which i've been working with them almost 1 yr now, i just set up another payment plan with them for the next 6 months which they have taken out electronically (i have no problems with them and it will be paid off by the end of this year).

my daughter has on her credit report that all of her debts are charged off except for 3 to 4 one is a student loan and not sure what the others are. My question is can collectors still collect on a charge off account and what exactly is charged off mean?
