Got cought off guard by Dental bills for emergency dental work. Car accident with Medical bills pilling up. Insurance won;t take care of it until they find fault.

I sent them a letter yesterday telling them I won't be able to pay finance charges and that I am consolidating and they told me that they would not consolidate because the loan is new.

I see the option to send "Quick Messages" to anyone in the forums. Just click on the member ID you want to message and it will be sent to him/her. And these messages are getting stored in the home page of that user. Interesting!! :) I did some research and thought that a pop up screen or an email to notify us when a new message arrives in the homepage will be good enough. (or if that green arrow turns to red when a new QM comes). Did ya'll check this?

I live in North Carolina. I just found out there are some debt consolidation companies that don't handle North Carolina. Also, I have taken out several Payday loans which the Debt Consolidation Companies that would handle my case - will not handle the PayDay Loans I have. Is there any Debt Consolidation Company that will handle a North Carolina case along with my PayDay Loans? I believe in the unbelievable! Help me! Pleeeeaaasssseee!

I have a question. When a person's checking acct. is overdrawn due to NSF of returned PDL checks, can the bank report you to the authorities? I've never had the kind of problem I'm about to face, and I need to know what to anticipate for. It was never my intention to get into such a mess. I'm so ashamed of myself. :(

I do not have credit card debit, I have medical bills here and there, but I need to find a way to clean up my credit report, so I can rent an apartment, buy a car, and maybe finish school...

First off - I wish I would have found this site long ago, but I have been helped since I did, and have learned alot. This brings me to my point.... fortunately I have never had to get a pdl - knew they existed, but didn't know too much about them and the horrible way people are basically robbed when they try to pay them back - til I read this site. Just in a local area of about 5 blocks, I counted 5 yes 5 pay day loan places. All on the same side of the street!

I was living fairly comfortaby untill about a month ago when i got into trouble and as a solution the military reduced my rank from e-4 to e-1 which is a 600 dollar a month difference so now im stuck having to sell my truck and get my debt consolodation because not only did they take my money but i also cant get out of the army to get a better paying job. :x

Okay, I'm very new to this forum so please, share any advice you can. A year ago I did an voluntary repo on my car because I could no longer make the payments and I wasn't working. I called the company I had my car through and the came to pick it up and later after the car was sold sent me a letter stating that I owed 4,400 to them. I wasn't working at the time and couldn't pay.
