I came home from work today and notice this # on my caller id, but they didn't leave a message. The # is (904)302-5835. I called the # back and it said, "due to inclement weather, we are now closed. Please try your call again tomorrow." I searched for the # and it is based in Jacksonville, FL. I figure it could be Bass & Associates or one of their dba's :evil:

I have sent all my letters, Cease and Desist, Validation letters certified/return receipt to the collection agencies early in Feb. I havent gotten anything in the mail for validation (I'm not suprised) but, my question is, Isnt there another letter (validation-2nd request) that I should mail if no response? Thanks!

Ok, so I wrote payday-loan-yes telling basically telling them that I wanted to pay the $45.00 balance that I have with them (not the $355.00 they say I owe) and that they won't be able to withdraw from my bank account any longer. Also told them after I sent the the $45.00 that I wanted to have my account marked PIF. The following is the response I received from them. The thing is all she did was tell me what payments I have made thus far, which is something I already knew.

Did it go better or worse than expected? Who was more accomodating to payment plans? Internet or storefronts? What was the worst thing that happened? The best? How long did it take you to pay yours off and how many did you have?

I have like six to seven payday loans out. They are taking fees out of my account some on a weekly basis and some bi weekly. How do i stop them from taking the money out. I understand that i have agreed to pay to fees, but it has gotten out of control. Some of the loans i have had going back to novemeber 2006 paying $90 every two weeks I live in nj. Please help
