Allied Interste will not take no for an answer so I asked to speak with a supervisor. He uttered several profanities, including the ubiquitous "F you". Because of tracking devices, I have a location for this caller down to a street in Texas. What are the chances a Democratic society could vote yes on the proposition to outsource a personal call complete with baseball bat to Mr. Vulgar?

Hi there, I hope to find some wisdom here. I have been contacted by a debt recovery agency telling me they are in a position to offer me a settlement on an old debt I have. This is the 3rd collection agency the debt has gone to. I was making regular, timely payments on the debt with the 2 prior collection agencies, but the debt kept rising due to the interest and then the company refused to take any more payments and threatened a lawsuit if I did not pay in Full and of course was abusive etc etc.

I have two different items on my CR from this agency. I believe both are legimate debts. I found this website while trying to find a telephone to contact the Credit Protection Associates. In the post about them, many people have said that they are a shady company and that they can not get a response from them. One poster went as far to say that that he does not recommend sending them any bank information. That makes me leary about sending these people a check for payment. Does anyone have any dealings with this creditot? Thanks

Some how this just doesnt seem fair. I have a mark on all three credit reports from DTCREDIT. After my divorce, my credit was in bad shape. This was one of the only placed I could find to finance me and it wasnt the best car or the best loan, but I was desparate and they knew it. To make a long story short, about 8 months into my loan, I was laid off from work and was unable to make payments and the vehicle was repossessed. From what I have gathered, the car company sells the vehicle for whatever they can get for it and sharged me for the remainder of the loan.

I had a few payday loans and some are now working with me and sending refunds, so surprised to see that. My last payday loan is with AIP they refused the letters to send a refund since payday loans are not allowed for Maryland residents. They also continue to call me at work after I have requested on numerous occassions to stop, so they are now contacting my Supervisor. Well, as of right now I am only woeking part time and paying my car. I also have a 9 month old and am 4 months pregnant with my second child. I know its going to be hard as it is, and next income tax I will be working full time and want to buy my kids a house. I want thenm to have a house with a back yard that they can run around in. This year I wanted to turn in my car and get a Honda mainly becuase of how much gas it will save me. But they wont let me beacause with my current car I have late payments.
