Anyone know if you can file bankruptcy on a tax refund anticiaption loan? My sister ran into some trouble and got on eof these and now needs to file bankruptcy and i didnt know the details. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to the information in which I have received so far from this forum I have overpaid. Could someone tell me if I have this right according to Florida guidelines/laws. On a $300.00 loan I should have paid $335.00? On a $250.00 loan I should have paid $280.00? On a $350.00 loan I should have paid $390.00? On a $200.00 loan I should have paid $225.00? On a $450.00 loan I should have paid $500.00?

I paid a debt off in August of 2006 a settlement with MRS. They where pretty nice about the whole situation. The problem I am having now is more people are calling to collect the same debt. What do I do about it. Also my ex-wife run up doctor bills and charged them to me they also are calling and ruining my credit how do i get that off my account. I had a dispute with my insurance coverage my son took a ride in a ambulance the bill was around 100 dollars when they turned it over to the collection agency it came up to 1200.00 how could that happen.

Does anyone know who these people are? They just called my work number and asked to speak to the comptroller or the owner for a financial investigation. All I could get was their name and they would not give me any other information other than it was a financial investigation.

Are creditors allowed to call me at work?

Has anyone ever gotten a legit "validation" from collection agencies? I have 1 time for an old debt that I paid years ago after my divorce. I certainly havent seen any from Westbury Ventures National Credit Ajusters Bass and Associates Just curious....... :o

Newbie here... Hello, I want to know if creditsolutions.com (CS) can reduce my 49k debt to be paid off for 26k in 36 months as claimed with little affect on my credit. Or some personal stories would be appreciated. I've already negotiated a rate of 7.9 for the unsecured loan and they're still claiming to cut the debt in half. Please weigh in... :) habba

I had someone named Garrett from Westbury/Venture called my job while I was out of the office, he questioned the operator of my home number and if she could give it to him. He continue to harass the operator, she put him through to my voice mail and he left this ridiculous e-mail stating that he really wants to help me, and I better call if I want to resolve this. I am upset because he had no business harassing the operator at my job about information on me. What do you suggest?
