Ok, I got contacted by a Steve (no last name given), he said he was trying to collect on a loan (I assume he was talking about a payday Loan). It took several attempts to get the answer from him but it was suppose to be from a company called Loan Mart in Tacoma, Washington in 2007. I told this Steve that I never heard of the company, the only payday loans I have done was from two businesses, Zippy Cash and J&J Loans, both are paid off in full and they are no longer in business.

I have found myself in over my head with payday/installment loans. After considering many options; I think I have decided that i will default on my installment loan with check n go- i am paying almost $700 per month on a $2,100.00 loan & it's killing me!!! Putting the question out there: if i sent them a letter stating i can no longer afford the current payments & advise my bank not to allow them to put through ACH payments from my account; will they give me a certain amount of time to pay off the loan? Will they send it to collection or take it directly to court?

9-6-2012 I received a call from 888-913-7405. It said this is an attempt to collect a debt, no names were mentioned. Option Press 1 to speak to an agent did nothing. I called the number, they said they were trying to reach KM. I said that is my neighbor, why would you call my number? They said they would remove my number. I believe they intentionally call the neighbors (called "block party") to harass the creditor. We should always record these kinds of calls so when they get sued there is proof that this is not a mistake on their part.

Some year ago after my grandmother passed away my husband and I got a payday loan from Cash call in the amount of 5000$. It was the worst thing we could have ever done. Each month we paid the minumun amount due BUT it never went down. They would not work with us at all to try to lower the amount. So we stopped paying. This also was the stupidest thing we could have ever done. A year passed and we got a court order and they took 700 dollars out mybank account. That???s all I had in my account. I have been currently making payment but stop due to financial difficultly.

6 Sep 12 I get calls from this company weekly but I filed a complaint with the State Attorney General's Office here in Michigan and also with the "Do Not Call Registry" online portal because my phone number is not authorized to be used by non-solicitors.
