After Tuesday's call from a Stan Morman from Bass and Assoc I filed complaints with the AG of FL then I filed with the BBB. My question is can I still send a letter of validation and cease and desist or do I have to wait until I hear a response? I read also that Payday Loans don't except cease and desist letter or rather follow them? Is that true? Please Help!

This is a very long story, made very short, but here goes... Back in 2003, I had about 5 or 6 credit cards, Macy's, Sears x 2, Visa, JC Penny's, student loans. I was making all of my payments on time, for the most part. I had the occasional glip once in a blue moon as everyone does. I didn't have perfect credit, maybe a 680 as a score. I was doing okay. Then, in October of 2003, my apartment burnt down one horrible evening while I was out of town (so not my fault). Everything was destroyed and everything in my life changed. I had no clothing, bedding, basics of life.

Does any one know what their collection efforts are once your loan is in default. Need an answer asap please?

I have been dealing with these clowns (IPDL) since 2004, Should I go back and try to get all the overpayments I did? I have copies of all their ACHs. Please let me know what you all think?

im in debt and currently paying off as many things as i can afford to pay right now. im also looking into debt consolidation however most sites i have seen so far cant help with a car loan gone bad cause it is a secured debt yet this is the highest thing on my crdit report is there anything i can do to help fix this and get it off my credit?? please email me at email address removed as per forum rules - Mike

Im wondering how does this program work and what does it cost to do it?

Does anyone know if they can add interest to your account???? They keep adding it to mine. I talked to a lady today and she insisted that the only way I could pay them back was by giving 3 post dated checks. I asked if there was somewhere I could send a check each month. She wouldn't even try to work out a payment schedule with me. She just wanted me to pay like $5000.00. If I had it, would I have this problem??? So can they add interest to your debt? Can they collect from another state? I live in MN. Thanks!
