I am disabled. I have been disabled since 2007. since that time I have gone to the hospital a few times and each time I have given my insurance information. I am categorically needy and I have everything paid for with medicaid and medicare. The hospitals have incorrectly billed me, then never sent me a bill and then put me in collections all without my knowledge or any attempt to contact me. Now I have a credit score that keeps falling every month and I have done NOTHING wrong. They are the ones that messed up not me!! Can I sue for damaging my credit?

I attended college for one year. At the time, my dad had just died, my family lost our home due to his unemployment a few months earlier, my mother was very dependent and had never had a job, and almost every weekend she would visit my dorm room unannounced to cry on my shoulders about being 36 and having to move back in with her parents. A friend of mine in California took out a $2,600 loan to send money back home when his mom fell ill. He says he just called them and he has paid 14 months of $294.xx payments that are automatically debited from his account (approx. $4,116 so far paid). They also told him the current balance is around $2,800.
