In NJ can a creditor sue for anything more than the amount owed plus court costs? If no notice, invoice, or statement was ever received showing interest added to the principle, can that interest be collected?

I am successfully (whew) clearing up 15 PDLs. Having them nearly did me in. I have a handle on the remaining 5.....except for 1. There is a debit of $90 coming from my account every 2 weeks on payday. It says 2-Power Funding. I can't seem to locate anything on this. Bank checked but they said all they could get is that same info. Any ideas?

Okay i stopped pmt to bmg... Wednesday and today i recieve an e-mail from sgq prosessing saying i defaulted 12-18-06 what the heck and my name well the name wasnt even my name.... What is this :? I payed the 450.00 for my 300.00 loan

CashNetUSA just tried again to debit my account, I had put a freeze on my checking account and for some reason it was lifted, thankfully I checked this account and saw pending tranactions for the full balance $556! I called the bank and they put the freeze back on and won't pay this! so I just wanted people to know that the payday loans will still try to take money even when they've tried before and been turned away! they are just going to have to keep accepting my payments each month!

I just got a phone call, at work, & was told that if I don't bay them 330.50 by 3:00 end of today today (1/12/07), they would file charges against me. The offices of Phillip Abernathy said that they could not fax me any of the information, but that the company that I supposedly borrowed money from has sent me letters & e-mails, which I never got. Does anyone know what I can do?

a bryan hatfeild who said he was from first credit of america and could get my bill from pay later site reduced which i found fun it was from a movie site to down load old movies but i never accessed the site it would not load anyway when i called him to tell him i wouldn't be able to make the payment i got a total different person so i tryed the second number it was to the same person and i alread screwed up and gave them my debit number because i thought they was legit now i think i'm screwed and if i ever find this bryan hatfield from that company were going to have a very pain full disc

I am already a member but it seems i forgot my Log in infor...All the same: With so many active members in here, i think we should do more than just advice each other on PDL and other financial issues. In regards to PDL's, i have been a victim and i am still caught up as we speak. We should take a bigger step to maybe start a petition to stop these types of services. Send it to congress, so many of us can fight this and destroy the PDL services. I know you might thing that "easier said than done" but its worth a shot. Just an idea....
