Can one collection agency sell a judgement to another one? I have been making payments on a judgement with one agency and then received a notice from a different one that they are trying to collect it. I am going to ask for validation, but is there anything else I should do?

Hi,my name is Latressa Nalls in Union City Ga.I'm a single mom with four kids all who are teenagers.A while back I had surgery one in Aug.2005,and another one in May 2006.To make a long story short I got behind on my bills,now I'm facing having my lights cut off in a day now, I'm in desparte need of some help.Me and my family will appreciate any help we can get to keep our lights on.

I am trying to pay a bill but the check has "Pay to the Order of CPU/CBSD" but I do not recall having to pay any company with that name. Can someone give me an idea as to who they are?

The week after Christmas, my bank account was frozen by Palisades Collection, LLC for an old AT&T phone bill (allegedly). I went to court to find out what happened, because Palisades never contacted me, and filed an order to show cause. I then went to the file room to look at my case, and they claimed to serve a "co-tenant" in my building, and the description provided wasn't even near that of anyone that lives in my building! What can I do to get rid of this? My bank account is frozen, and I'm afraid they will just take all of my money! --Thanks, Christina

Can a repo man drive across your lawn to repo your vehicle if another vehicle is blocking the drive way behind the vehicle to be repoed??? Can the move the vehicle blocking the drive with a wrecker to obtain accsses to to vehicle to be repoed??
