At the time I had a great job and was just finishing up a year and a half with the IRS and the Innocent Injured spouse prgram and was relieved of my exhusband 65,000.00 income tax lien. (BTW for anyone in the same situation with their x-spouse, It takes a lot of work to be cleared of taxes and a lot of proof, but you can do it your self. 2 Attorneys told me I didn't qualify, so I had no other choice but to give it a shot.

I was reading some the postings and I’m curious; one of the posting read “Negative info will be removed after 7 years from the date of opening of this account. You can pay the whole debt now, however if you pay towards the account, the SOL will be set from the beginning and collection attempts will be valid for the next 7 years. " So if I understand... I have an account on my credit file that opened/placed on collections 12/2002, says it will be removed approx 01/2008.

Well this is my first time in all my life where i'm facing bad credit.I always was time on paying my bills, credit cards, loans, etc.. Until my wife had convinced me to run my credit cards and not to worry about paying it back. She said just file bankruptcy if anything. Having no clue on what i was doing, i just listened to her. Not to realize after i was really screwing up my credit. She says she will help me pay for the trouble she caused, but nothing has happened. So basically im facing this problem on my own....... we have been getting repeated phone calls from this number, always the same very hard to understand woman calling, always with a different extension (though usually indeciferable). I cannot understand the company she claims to be calling from, but is asking for my husband. Any info?

I am late on bills and stuck on paying payday loans. Every check i get is gone,I never have money to pay the bills.

can allied interstate take me to court because they refuse a mailed payment? I will not give out bank info and now I am afraid they will take me to court, but I offered to mail it and he said they would not accept it, also, they are trying to charge me $100.00 more for my debt than I owe. Also, he said they only have my account for only three more months an it goes to another collection agency and they will charge me even more money, what is this about?
