This company has been calling my phone number and asking for a certain person that does not live here and I do not know. When I tell them this, they hang up on me. The problem is, they keep calling me and asking me if he is there and then hanging up on me. This has been going on for the past few days now. I am not sure how to handle this problem. Any suggestions?

I just got a call tonight about a medical bill that i owe and at the time of all those bills i had the medical card so i told the lady i sent in my stuff and a copy of my medical card to whom ever and then she told me to get off my ass and get a job to learn to pay for my bills. I explained to her that i do not have a job i am a stay at home mom and that my husband doesn't make enough to cover alot.. just the needs of our son.. We live with my parents if that tells you how much we make a month.

Is a debt collector required to give the mini miranda if I call the company to discuss my account, or is it strictly for when they calls me?

My story is young twenty year old guy that got way over his head with unneccessary bills that I didn\'t have to have. IF i could do all over I would change a lot about how I handled my money over the years.

I have been involved in a debt settlement program since Feb 2006. I settled one account and still have 2 large outstanding balances that I would like to settle but of course I do not have enough $$$ in my account. Can someone advise me on what is the best option besides bankrupcy? I just received my first arbitration letter from one creditor and quite frankly I am feeling guilty and broke.

I got this number on my caller id when i called they would not tell me what company I was calling only that I was talking with an answering service that houses many businesses. They seemed very shady to me when you pressed option 1 which is sales you go to the answering services same with all other opitions. Does anyone know to which company this number belongs to. Thank you.
