If I file for bankruptcy TODAY, will it save my home even if it has already been legally set for foreclosure sale and I received notice of the date? (2/6/07) I am 52 yrs old and without a job. My husband (age 46) works for Marriott, but does not make enough to make the house note (barely enough to even pay the utility bills and survive). I have to refinance or sell my home by 2/6/07 or Chase Bank is going to auction it off and foreclosure will be added to my already "without hope" credit record.

Has anyone heard of EXPRESCASH? I am in the process of getting all of my PDL's marked PIF and a debit just tried to go through my bank from EXPRESCASH. I am assuming that it was from one of the companies that I haven't heard back from yet. Thanks!!

It's not about the questions I have, other than how can they get away with it. After a year of paying over a thousand dollars to United Cash Loans, (my error for sure), I finally contacted the head of our bank and they will get my money returned, through both States Atorney General's Office. These people are crooks and I'd love to meet the owner face to face, there would be no talking, his teeth would be missing.

I have not signed up and have not rec'd a call for the free consultation that is advertised here. Can someone explain what that is? Are they referring me to an independent agency in my area? Is that how this website is financed? What are the obligations? I have contacted a nationally accredited credit counselor to help me do a debt consolotation. They are going to charge $40 to set it up and $30/month to deal with my creditors, in addition to what I will have to pay monthly for a number of years to get out of this mess that I freely admit I created myself. Does that sound reasonable.

Hi Guys: After paying T&C successfully for three months, I have noticed that Cash Central will be down to three hundred dollars in January. Should I try to contact Cash Central and make arrangements to settle for a smaller amount? Has anyone try to make arrangements with this PDL for a lesser amount? Or should I just continue to pay T&C for the next three months? Advice will be appreciated.

I just woke up from another bad dream. I have a court date Jan. 2nd, 2007 for 6 tickets (a few FMFR's and expired reg., nothing else). I got arrested on Nov. 12, 2005 after failures to appear. I got bailed out and reset the court date. But as it gets closer, I can't help but think that they'll find out I owe a bunch of companies and toss me in jail. Or find out I may have warrants in another county and arrest me(which I may have). So much going through my head, i can't sleep. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know any companies that deal with payday loan consolidations? I am up to my ears in debt with these lenders - yes, its stupid I know - but I just need help as soon as possible. Thanks!

My husband was unable to pay our taxes and insurance on our home. The mortgage company decided to take the payments from $1700 mo to $3200.00 mo. My husband tried to keep up with the payments, but was unable, and took the rent $$ from our rental to pay the mortgage for the house we live in. Long story short, he messed up! Both houses are now in foreclosre, have usury laws been broken?
