I just received the same call from this company. Their number is 954-237-6824. They were extremely rude and told me I would face the same charges. I asked to speak to the supervisor and he hung up on me. Should I send the money? I asked them to fax a copy of the information to me and the charges and I was told they were not my servent. What should I do?

I received a call from allied interstate about two months ago,they left a message to contact them regarding a debt. I then looked up allied interstate on the internet, and read some pretty bad things about them, so decided not to call them back. They continue to call me several times a week, sometimes leaving messages, sometimes not. I also decided to run credit reports under both my and my husbands names, even though I was pretty sure we did not have any outstanding debt. We don't, nothing shows up on our credit report. In fact we have excellent credit. I don't know what to do now.

I keep getting calls from agencies like Creditors Exchange because someone with bad credit gave them the number I have had for more than two years. I have routinely explained this and have met with rude and curt responses. Today the woman from Creditors Exchange wouldn't identify herself or her company. I had use caller ID to see who it was. What do I do to stop this? Ralph

If I owe Paypal, a few banks (through overdrafted accounts), electric company, a cell phone company, and my student loans which are in default, can I be thrown in jail? I am trying my hardest to fix this but these stupid calls don't stop. Just wondering if for any of that can they throw you in jail? Would I get a letter saying there's a lawsuit or something against me? Or can they just pick me up? Thanks!

Thanks to everyone so far who has been very helpful. I just pulled my credit report from annualcreditreport.com. I would like to dispute almost 15 things on my report. How would I be able to do this? I mean, who do I send the letters to? Should they all be different letters or all in the same one? What are the steps? Thanks
