Recently, this month in fact, I was contacted by a collection agency. This is a result of signing a contract with a Health Club for two individuals including myself. This was done 16 years ago. Not once did I ever step into this facility nor did I ever use this facility. In fact, I can't even remember where this place is or what it even looks like. Not once have I received any report from any agency or collection agency until this year, 2006. What about the SOL? Negatitions potentials and possiblities? What can I do to resolve these "wrong" issues with this collection agency?

I have alot of medical bills. I had some problems with getting insurance but had alot of medical problems. I made arrangements to pay but was told they would call me or mail some info about bill. I never received any thing and now all these people are calling me wanting some money. I really intruley forgot about all of them because me mother became really ill then my father past away. Taking care of three kids plus helping my mom pay her bills is tuff. Now i don't know what to do. Could you please help me figure it out..... Donna

Does anyone have any experience dealing with the OK AG or Dept of Consumer Credit in regards to ipdls? I filed a complaint through the OKDOCC a few weeks ago and I got a response that they received my complaint and assigned it to someone but I haven't heard anything else. Thanks in advance for your help!

I just wanted to thank everybody for their help in showing me a way to get out of this payday loan mess. I was in utter depair back in October, and I don't know what I would have done id I had not found this website. But lately things have gotten so nasty to the point my husband and I are filing a police report today in regards to a threat I got through these boards. But I wanted to acknowledge Kyside, Polly, Jessi, Finsfan and a whole lot of others for their great advice. I donated all my points to DBaker.

I am currently over 20 something thousand dollars in debt. Not including my car loan and my school loan of another 37 grand (that's both combined). I want my school loan and my car loan to be untouched and I just want my credit cards to be consolidated. The sooner I get rid of them in my life the better off I'll be. I can not afford any more debt with the credit cards right now and it just seems they keep on piling up. I checked a couple places out but their is so many options to choose from which is why I am here. I figured if I looked around on forum boards it would help me out.

I would like to know if a qualify for a type of consolidation loan, I have just returned to full time work after bringing up my kids by myself for 14 years and am tring to catch up on bills and 1 bill would be so easy. Please let me know, if anything is possible and how much it would cost me...............
