My daughter has over 10,000 worth of debt. The credit card companies have turned it over to collection and want to sue. What does she need to do?

Hello out there. For anyone that is considering doing business STOP!!!!! Langehorne does have ties with Ambassador and Nationwide Cash. I did not personally deal with these companies. Several consumers did however in my state. The responses that are coming in to AG office is from Langehorne. Do not deal with these people. Its dangerous. Dont get taken twice. Please research . I have an entry on my credit report showing an account was paid off in 1999- can it be removed from my credit report?

While I was in college I managed to amass a sizeable debt with my Citi Mastercard and Discover Card (Currently 3,000). During school and soon after I was at many times unable to pay the bill, because my budget was very limietd. I really regret using it so stupidly. So the credit card company kept adding fees which practically more than doubled the original borrowed amount. I have been set up on payment plans with both of those companies to try and keep the interest rates at bay. I have knocked down some of the debt especially on the discover card.

I have two credit cards, one from the Home Depot and one from Bank of America and one student loan that I am having a hard time paying back. I recently lost a business and have had a hard time finding work in my area. I recently was hired by a resturant I worked in my teen years and I am making OK money, around $800 a month. I have a car payment of $246 I pay every month and do not want to include with the three other debts I have out. I am looking for an intrest rate around 13% to 15%. Sincerly, Jonathan Zywics

Whoever this is they keep trying to take money out of my account. I have a list of the the pdl companies I took out loans with and I have FSM group written down and it was paid off on 10/27/06, so now I am trying to figure out what this one is about. Thank You!

Has anyone had any luck in dealing with them? I owe them 800 which according to them is $1120 ...the legal interest in CA is 15$/100 so I figure I owe them $920. They say they cannot take partial payments and have sent me the form letter I've seen on other postings where they threaten to contact my payroll . It has an address in MALTA of all places on it. Has anyone had any luck in getting them to take partial payments? There is no way I can pay it off in full and they insist on me paying them what THEY say I owe them

I'm currently past due on few cards and the min pmts are growing up. I'm paying arounf 500 a month but I'm getting nowhere. Are you able to help?, what can you do for me?

Probably going to be thrown out but I have a question and I know a lot of young people are reading this board. What is the worst mistake a person can make regarding debt or getting into debt? Is it credit cards,pdl,or something else. I am not judging any one I just hope someone will think before taking the loan or credit card. From reading the post,a lot of us are in finacial trouble even myself so if we could help or give advice maybe just one person would listen.
