I have recently had a old judgement of 14 years brought against me by a scavenger debt collector who has added interest for all these years. She had bought it for $2.00. She wen't to court and put a execution on my name, how can this possibly be legal?

I recently filed for bankruptcy. I called Roure 66 to make them aware of it. They will not respond to me. How do I get them to listen and stop messing with my account. I have spoken to both Mark and Joseph. They are not trying to hear anyone.

my father is receiving calls from allied interstate regarding a Verizon bill they say he owes. My father has never had a verizon account and this s been verified through Verizon too. They do not even have my father's address, but some how they have his phone number. When he told them to send him a acopy of the bill and cotract, they said they did and the address they sent it to was a totally different state. How can we get these calls to stop? and make sure they do not put it on his credit report? My parents have never had any credit problem and I do not want to see this happen to them.

Okay, so I had a Dell acct with ARS. I have a settlement letter that states that I needed to send them x amount by 10/30/06 to accept the settlement. I sent them a check on/around/dated for 10/27... acceptable because I confirmed it with one of the reps there and found out exactly how to get MORE proof that I had settled the debt... she said I could get a letter of release on 11/27.. 30 days after the check. The check was cashed. So, today in the mail I have a letter from ARS. I figured it was my letter of release. Oh no. Instead, it was a blank letter..
