Yeah I have been had also. I know I have paid these people plenty of money but they keep debting my account. I call and they tell me I still owe the full amount. One person I actually paid off. But I have 5 more that wont quit. What can I do?

Hi. I'm a 26 y.o. nursing student and I am working part-time. I am trying to figure out the best way to settle with a debt-collection agency on some debts from a cell phone contract and a credit card. Should I receive a verfication of settlement from them before settling? What are the steps to settle? I have a little cash set aside that I can use, and I'm wondering how to do this right to make sure that I don't get the 'short end of the stick' or anything. any help would be appreciated. I ran AVG Free and the virus went to the vault, which i have deleted and all seems to be running fine now. however, i've had to vault it three times. when I restart, the virus seems to reappear. but my computer is running fine. but...

I have a payday loan with a company called Natinal Payday Advance. They are threatening to call and harass my coworkers, family members, and me if they do not see payment. I know that this is against the law, but I do not have a contact address for them. How do I get one? I need to send them a cease and desist letter.

She cried and said she had been working 2 jobs and she just did not know what to do. She was calling me to make a payment, I told her to call me after christmas and to have a merry christmas. I had an account with them, that has been more than paid back. However, they say I still owe 230$. Today, they posted a payment to my checking account..my new account. I have no idea how they got my account info. They said I applied for another payday loan with a vendor (I dont' think I did)...but they said my initial contract gave them authorization to charge any account I have, at any bank in the US. They won't send me copies and my bank can't block charges.

We have an employee that is under a garnishment order. This process is not an easy or uninvolved one and requires a significant amount of time to enforce on our (employer) part. Is it possible or legal to "charge" for this extra time involved in preparing the garnishment process?
