Please contact the Attorney General's office if you are having a problem with a PDL. I did and they sent a very strong letter to the company and clearly stated that they are to "cease and desist from further collection" and quoted the law to them that they are acting illegaly in the state of NC. They are here to help us, not hurt us. :D

Hi, I just recently got a call from someone who worked at Bass and associates. She informed me that the company I had taken a loan out with were about to proceed with a suit against me for theft. I was so worked up since not two weeks before I had made arrangements with the original debt company, the woman there had been polite. Said it was no prob to set up arrangements, she even mailed me a letter with the payment arrang. info. Then two days before my first payment I find out that she made an error and it was already sold to another company.

Some one from this company just called and told me that I had until 2:30 pm to find 519 dollars just monday it was 250. are they allowed to tell me that. she stated that I needed to get a lawyer because the were charging me with bank fraud. I already sent them half of the money.
