does anyone know how you would get on a program to where you are just making one payment to a person and they are paying the payday loan places you owe money to. All these loan places are taking money out of my acct every time i am paid and it is taking all of my paycheck please help

Hello, I sent a payment offer plan to some collection agencies offering to pay off the account within 6-8 months. I also sent 10% of the balance as a good faith offer when I sent the letter. Only one responded back accepting my offer. The others have not but they did cash the money orders I sent them. I asked that they respond and if the cashed the money orders then I would take that as them accepting my offer. My question is, what is a good letter to send them now? I was thinking that I saw they cashed the money order and I take that as acceptance.

I have approximately 5000 dollars worth of mostly consumer debt most of which has been brought to one collection agency or another. I have decided the best action for me is to pay this debt off as I desire to be able to by my own condo within approximately the next year or so. I figure a bank will look more favorably on me if I make an effort to pay this debt off rather then filing bankruptcy. Since I have bad credit due to these collections, I have a hard time getting a loan to consolidate and I have no one that will co-sign on a loan with me.

I just called their legal department everytime that they hung up on me. I called back. I spoke very nice to them and I didn't raise my voice. They guy was telling me that we are done. I said no sir I am asking you to mark my account PIF. He said ok no problem. I am going to call them back and tell them that I have a recording of them to mark my account paid in full. I got two new numbers out of a customer service guy. They are 877-290-5259 and 877-646-9618. I don't know if they have been posted here before.

What is the worst they can do? I just divorced and have no job.

That is a fact. I am a collector. Payment plans only, so for all those who can't pay in full, they come to ma. I get 5.00 in the mail, 10.00. They will not send it back. All you have to do is get the address. They may not want to give it to you, but keep asking. They do not have a choice. Some people call and say "can i have the address, i want to mail a check for the full amount. They will give you the address. A lot of people are racking thier brains, thinking that these agencies have to have it all...no they do not.

I have had First National Collection Bureau, Inc. trying to collect for a debt on a credit card. I had a 500.00 limit and i understand with interest, that i might owe more, but i never charged over that amount. In my credit report it stated that i had a 1700.00 credit limit which is not true. They say i owe them 2132.00. but are willing to accept 1292.00 but debt has been charged off and i don't understand if i am resposible for the total amount they r asking for or if i should request a bill for all the charges? Or just pay them and let that be that?
