Anyone know how to get this company to stop harassing me? They took out $410 for a $300 loan, under the name of Instant Payday loans, then they changed their name MTE Financial to take money out of my acct. I threatened them with going to the Attorney Generals office, yet Apryl says I didn't notify them 3 days ahead of time and that money was not put towards the loan. I tried to tell her that no where on the paperwork does it have a phone number, email address or website to contact them. What can I do? Am I stuck paying anymore money, since they already have $410? I am primarily interested in knowing if anyone from Washington State has obtained loans from Sonic Payday, CTC, or any other online payday lenders that are not licensed in Washington.

Those of you in the US should consider reporting Sonic et al to your State Department of Financial Institutions or other such agency that regulates payday lenders. Many of the online payday lenders are not licensed, but States must prove that there are loans going on in their state before they can get jurisdiction.
