Has anyone ever dealt with CBCS? They called me the other day to say that I owe Comcast $407. Of course they wanted all my information but not before I got all the information from them first. The cool part was that it through her off when I started asking the questions. Then I think she hated it when I said that I was not acknowledging the debt. She proceeded to say that I had spoken with them in the past and had made many promises to pay and have broken them. I've never spoken with them in the past.

I have an outstanding credit card that had around $9,000 worth of credit at a low interest rate of 3%. I lost the payment slip and forgot to pay the minimum amount. I am a member of a credit monitoring systems which alerts me to changes. The credit card service flagged my credit report with a past 30 day notice. How can I get the negative notice removed? Additionally the credit card has bumped the interest rate up to 24%. Should I apply for a new line of credit and transfer to get away from the high interest rate, or can I negotiate that rate after I reconcile my oversight?

I just got a call from Ted Smith from Payment Services for Cash Transfer Centers stating that he is going to contact my HR dept where I work. I am a federal employee in Washington State. Is there anyone out there who can offer me any advice? Also, I have sent my HR dept a letter for revocation of my Voluntary Wage Assignment. Also, he tried forcing me to admit that I was unwilling to pay the loan while he was recording our call.

Has anyone dealt with this collection company. Can you tell me who regulates collections companies and who I can file a complaint with? On two different occasions they did not honor the payment arrangements I made with them. One time I changed the date and they still took out the payment. Just last week I had changed the payment amount with a rep over the phone and the company has not only taken out the original payment that was scheduled but also the changed payment. They double dipped me and now are telling me they can't credit me back for 30 days. Any suggestions?

I want to renew my loan. I just paid off one. How do I apply again?

Academic Requests

I had a loan for 200.00 with Arrowhead Investments for 3 months and I paid them 360.00 in interest plus the 200.00 for the loan. An emergency occurred and I had to get 250.00 (75.00 fee) loan from a month ago. I was wondering could I ask them to apply my overcharge from my last loan to my new one to settle it to 0. Thanks in advance P.S. You all have been so helpful and kind.

Will a company deal with just one credit card or do you have to deal with all of your cards. I am only having problems with one a Chase Card. The others I have started snowballing and things are fine but this one is a pain in the butt. Any suggestions I am one month behind. The interest and payment is more than I can afford at this time.

Here is the deal. I sent a letter to all of my IPDL several responsed back with PIF. However, 6 are not responding in my favor. I have paid them back in full plus lots. I have contacted my AG but I don't know how long a response will take. I want to keep on these people. I don't want to send the same letter. I want a different one. Closing my bank account right now isn't a option. I can pay $30.00 to put a hold on each company. Any links to other letters. I want to keep on them. I am not going to roll over a play dead. I am going to fight to the finish.
