I am being sued for a credit card loan by Midland funding llc I don't owe this the amount in question. I have a court date in Dec and Have received the discovery papers which I will reply to any syggestion on how to continue from this point?

I must be blind or having a memory lapse with everything going on. I know this is a dumb question, but how in the heck do you vote for a blog?

I got behide on my bills when my childrens father left. Now i'm at a point in my life were i can't get myself out of owning credit cards. Really need some help.

Does anyone have experience dealing with payday ok am trying to get them to mark my loan paid in full am on the phone with them right now.

My checking account closed in May because it was overdrawn and I couldnt put the money back in right away. The collections department sent a letter and we made arrangements to pay $100 every two weeks. That turned out to be too much, but they wont set up any other type of arrangement. If I let this go too much longer will they send it to a third party collection agency or will they sue me? I'm in Missouri, and the bank is Commerce bank

Well, I tried to contact all 5 of the payday loan companies I had loans out with and explain to them that I wanted to pay them off one at a time and I would write 5 posted dated checks all within a 5 week period and none of them would return my emails or calls so I did what I thought best and cancelled my direct deposit and closed my bank account. I emailed all of the companies and explained what I had done and why and I have again offered to pay off the loans with a new post dated check and none of these loan companies have contacted me. Not an email, not a phone call,nothing.

Received a certified letter with legal papers from Atty Jay Taylor (for Portfolio) asking for a postponement for 90 days of the case they have against me schedules for Dec 1. I decided to call the court clerk today and see if they had rescheduled yet. The plaintiffs HAVE NOT FILED for postponement from the court. Everything is still set for this Friday. The clerk told me that sometimes the "scumbag" (her words not mine) attorneys send bogus documents because if you don't show up it is an automatic default judgement. I will be there now- glad I called!
