I would love to be able to help my family out! My grandmother is going through some illnesses and debt problems herself. I wasn't always in debt. A few years back my parents move out of state and I decided to stay here and let my little sister live with me to finish highschool. I do have a good job for my age, but I really did take on too much and spent over my means so my little sister could live somewhat of a normal life through the rest of her highschool career.

I recently received a "settlement "Opportunity" for a medical claim over 10 years old. I presumed this claim had been paid, as it was agreed upon and sent to a third party to take care of. (My daughter hurt her ankle while we were on vacation at Seaworld.) The park took care of all of the medical expenses for her ankle. Over the past 10 years, I never received notice that something had not been paid. Now, over 10 years later, I got a settlement Opportunity from midland credit management, Inc.

Has been a huge couple years for me and my debt really got away. Have gone from single living in ND (Oct 2004), to married with 2 little girls and living in possible the most expensive place you can possibly live, Key West, FL. We were getting by OK, but had some unexpected dental and auto repair bills that put us in a pinch, which increased credit card use for essentials. SO on and so forth. I think I could get it under control if Card interest wasn\'t eating me alive. Would also be veryu nice to write one check.

i owe about 40000. to college foundation..but i am unable to make the min monthly payment....it has been consolidated once... my forbearance is about to run out and they tell me that i cant put in back into forbearance until i meet satisfactory payments. Do you have any suggestions of what i can do. I can make a paymetn just not the amount they say that i have to. Can they garneish my wages for this in the state of NC?

I have a medical bill that was placed with a collection agency from 2003.The total I owed was 1695.00. I made arrangements to pay 50.00 a month to the surgery center. I missed a payment here and there so they sent me to collections. I made arrangements with them to pay 50.00 a month. There was several months I couldn't pay the whole amount so I would send 10.00 or what ever I could pay that month. Now they are telling me that they are going to start litagtion. I beg them not to. I told them I am sorry I got sick but I have been sending what I can.
