I took out a PDL online with Cash Transfer Centers for $1300, and had to put a stop payment on it (in favor of making my house payment), and now I need to negotiate with them on repayment. After finding this site and being directed to my state's (Missouri) site, I find that they are not licensed here, and the state only allows for loans to $500 with up to 75% of the loan balance to be charged in interest over the life of the loan. With that in mind, can anyone help me with advice on how to negotiate with them and for how much? Can I set my payment terms and will they have to accept?

A few years back my parents move out of state and I decided to stay here and let my little sister live with me to finish highschool. I do have a good job for my age, but I really did take on too much and spent over my means so my little sister could live somewhat of a normal life through the rest of her highschool career.

Has been a huge couple years for me and my debt really got away. i owe about 40000. to college foundation..but i am unable to make the min monthly payment....it has been consolidated once... my forbearance is about to run out and they tell me that i cant put in back into forbearance until i meet satisfactory payments. Do you have any suggestions of what i can do. I can make a paymetn just not the amount they say that i have to. Can they garneish my wages for this in the state of NC?
